Welcome to Coventry Girl Scouts

The Coventry Girl Scout Service Unit supports the Girl Scouts of Coventry, Connecticut. We aim to provide the best scouting experience to girls throughout the community.

The Girl Scout program is open to all girls from Kindergarten to Seniors. Girl Scout troops have at least two adult leaders and up to 20 girls per troop. Each troop participates in age-appropriate activities, but also has the opportunity to participate in Service Unit events such as our annual Camporee camping trip, our two fund raising activities (Be A Reader and Girl Scout Cookies), and various community service projects.

Coventry Service Unit currently has 182 registered girls and 46 leaders. All of our leaders are special people and we appreciate all of the time and energy they put in to running meetings, planning activities, and teaching the girls in town new skills and good values.

The Coventry Service Unit is a member of the Girls Scouts of Connecticut Council, Inc. (GSofCT) which is based in Hartford, CT. The Girl Scouts of Connecticut Council is a member of Girl Scouts of the USA.
