CPR TRAINING & RECERTIFICATION
FEBRUARY 1ST - 6:00 - 7:30 PM
All Girl Scout Troops are required to have a leader or adult volunteer to be trained and certified in CPR and First Aid. On February 1st, at the Media Center (during normal Leader Meeting), we will have a CPR certification session performed by CPR-O-Heart, LLC. Please contact Deb Boya with any questions.
LEADER DAUGHTER RETREAT
MARCH 21ST - 22ND
An annual tradition, the Leader Daughter Retreat is a great way to spend some one-on-one time with other Girl Scout Leaders and Girls. Lots of great activities, fun and laughs at this event! The Retreat will be at Yankee Trails Stonehouse. Additional details are forthcoming. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO HELP PLAN THIS EVENT - please contact Deb Boya.
Leader Meetings
Leader Meetings are held monthly at the High School Media Center beginning promptly at 7:00 pm. The meetings are held the first Monday of the month. Below is a list of the dates for the 2009 - 2010 meetings:

World Thinking Day - Each year on February 22, girls participate in activities, games and projects with global themes to honor their sister Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in other countries.

Girl Scout Sunday - March 9th - Each year, Girl Scouts throughout Connecticut participate in Girl Scout Sunday at their local place of worship. This event gives us an opportunity to be more visible in our community and to leader by our example of ongoing community service. Your support of our local Girl Scouts is appreciated. Memorial Day Parade - each year, the Girl Scouts march in the Memorial Day Parade to help remember and celebrate the Veterans of our country.
Girl Scout Fly-Up - All Scouts eligible to proceed to the next level of Girl Scouts will be promoted at this annual event. Contact your daughter's Girl Scout Leader for more details.
